Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity to support MD4 at Peterson SFB, CO. This is a full-time position with some telework approved at the customer’s discretion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver cybersecurity services certified in accordance with DoDI 8140.02, DoD 8570.01-M, and AFMAN 17-1303 standards.
- Implement cybersecurity policy on covered systems to maintain Authority to Operate (ATOs).
- Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, including DoDI 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework for DoD IT) and AFI 17-101 (RMF for Air Force IT).
- Direct discovery, monitoring, and mitigation of vulnerabilities that could compromise confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information; maintain eMASS Programs of Action and Milestones (POA&M), including DISA STIGs and the DoD IAVA/IAVM process.
- Conduct Cybersecurity Risk Management for system additions/changes via the Security Impact Assessment (SIA) process.
- Develop continual improvement processes for managing RMF packages in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Xacta, and SGN/CORE.
- Support Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) requirements, RMF control identification, implementation plans, and validation plans.
- Assist with entry and review of information in the Information Technology Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS).
- Prepare and review Federal Information Security Modernization Act documentation.
- Review data and maintain compliance notifications for IAVAs, NOTAMs, and cybersecurity posture.
- Advise division leadership on architecture mitigations to reduce system risk posture; represent risk posture in briefings to DoD Chief Information Officer, Headquarters USSF, and USSTRATCOM.
- Utilize NIST 800 series special publications to develop compliant system artifacts.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must hold a Secret Security Clearance.
- DoD IAM Level I certification (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP).
- High School Diploma and 15 years’ directly related experience with proper certifications (8 years in DoD); or BA/BS degree and 12 years’ experience (5 years in DoD); or MA/MS degree and 10 years’ experience (5 years in DoD).

- Ability to perform tasks and oversee junior and mid-level personnel.
- Comprehensive understanding of associated standards, procedures, and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD IAM Level II/III certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO).
- BA/BS degree.
- 10 years of experience in the respective discipline, with 5 years in DoD.
Schedule
- Full-time position at Peterson SFB, CO.

Final compensation will be determined by Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
