Key Responsibilities
- Lead system/application Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) efforts, ensuring compliance with DoD and Air Force policies (e.g., Risk Management Framework (RMF)).
- Develop and recommend security policies, procedures, and tools to safeguard systems, networks, and data against unauthorized access.
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify protection needs and mitigate threats.
- Perform security evaluations, audits, and reviews; recommend contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate on network/systems design to integrate security best practices.
- Investigate and preserve evidence for computer crime prosecutions.
- Serve as ISSE, ISSM, and ISSO per AFI 33-200, AFI 33-210, AFMAN 33-285, and DoDI 8510.01 for assigned systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to information security policies across all IT services.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Education/Experience: BA/BS + 10 years of cybersecurity experience (5 years DoD); OR MA/MS + 5 years (3 years DoD); OR 15 years of directly related experience (5 years DoD) with relevant certifications.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II (or higher) certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- Hands-on experience with LogRhythm and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Lab/SCIF management experience (preferred).
