System Administrator, Senior

About the role

Your technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a System Administrator to help us design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment that supports critical cybersecurity mission customers. As a Linux System Administrator on our project, you'll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Recommend technologies and approaches to improve platform security, stability, reliability and comply with security controls.
• Recommend improvements and architecture changes to dramatically improve speed and performance.
• Provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.
• Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network.
• Turn metrics into information and explain their meaning to your team.
• Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies.
• Identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
• Experience with GIT
• Managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
• Knowledge of Linux firewalls, Linux RPMs, networking configuration, and DNSTS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS
• Managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Salt, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Chef or Terraform
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Our work model includes options such as remote, hybrid, and onsite arrangements, depending on the role and customer needs.
