Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
- Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Administer virtualization platforms.
- Manage cloud environments (Microsoft Azure).
- Configure and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical business systems.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts for critical incidents and recurring problems.
- Implement security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and application teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support high-availability and failover solutions for critical business systems.
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization to support business growth.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years managing Windows Server in a production environment.
- Five or more years of IT experience.
- Three or more years as a System Administrator or equivalent.
- Experience deploying or managing virtual machines in VMware (vCenter or ESXI).
- Experience providing advanced technical support and serving as an escalation point for complex IT issues.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving server, operating system, storage, virtualization, and network-related problems.
- Ability to proactively identify business needs, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues through creative problem solving.
- Experience establishing project timelines and detailing key milestones and tasks to achieve objectives.
- Experience administering and maintaining Windows and Linux server environments.
- One or more years of experience managing and supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, or DHCP.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Experience administering virtualization platforms.
- Experience configuring and maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- One or more years of experience monitoring system performance, capacity, and availability while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Experience leading root cause analysis efforts for critical incidents and recurring problems.
- Experience implementing security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
- Experience monitoring and managing patching, updates, and lifecycle maintenance of infrastructure components.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
- Experience planning and executing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployment projects.
- Ability to collaborate with network, security, cloud, and application teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to support enterprise storage systems, SAN/NAS technologies, and data management platforms.
- Ability to configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Ability to evaluate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Ability to ensure compliance with organizational policies, security requirements, and regulatory standards.

- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm in the office three days per week and work remote two days per week.
Qualifications
- Ability to drive for the company with a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass driving record background check.
- Ability to utilize personal vehicle for the majority of work travel AND ability to rent a car when requested by supervisor for work travel.
- Ability to independently travel domestically up to 10% of the time, including overnights.
- Ability to lift more than 30 lbs.
- Comfort working with ambiguity, evolving projects, and leaders who think big and move fast.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and be comfortable with ambiguity and evolving IT environments.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
Skills
- Advanced troubleshooting expertise as the primary escalation point between Tier 1/2 support and senior IT staff.
- Hands-on management of enterprise servers, storage (SAN/NAS), and virtualization platforms.
- Automation of routine processes using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools.
- Secure, reliable administration of cloud environments (Microsoft Azure) and on-premises systems.
- Implementation of security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
- Technical leadership on infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and deployments.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position requires a flexible schedule, with the first 6-12 months being five days in the office per week for training purposes. Afterward, the position will be split between three days in the office and two days remote.
