Core Responsibilities

  • Azure Cloud & Network Administration
    • Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
    • Design, implement, and troubleshoot network configurations, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and Network Security Groups.
    • Oversee the health of cloud services, track metrics, analyze logs, create and respond to system alerts.
    • Implement and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including backup verification and high-availability (HA) architectures.
  • Email Administration
    • Serve as the primary administrator for the core collaboration suite (M365).
    • Manage user mailboxes, distribution lists, security groups, and mail flow settings.
    • Maintain email security settings, including spam filtering and phishing protection.
  • Employee Lifecycle & Hardware Management
    • Lead the technical onboarding process: preparing laptops, configuring accounts, and conducting IT orientations for new hires.
    • Manage the full lifecycle of company assets, including inventory, provisioning, and maintenance of laptops (macOS and Windows), monitors, and peripherals.
    • Execute secure offboarding by revoking system access, reclaiming assets, and ensuring data retention compliance.
  • Technical Support
    • Serve as the primary point of contact internally for technical support, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
    • Develop and maintain internal documentation for common IT procedures and user self-service guides.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years in System Administration or IT Support in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network security.
  • Experience administering M365.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing both macOS and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Prior experience in a rapidly scaling organization with a focus on internal customer service excellence.
