System Administrator
Purpose of Position
The Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in the management and maintenance of an organization’s computer systems for on premise and cloud solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware and software.
- Apply software updates, patches, and security fixes to ensure systems are up to date.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting system issues.
- Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
Minimum Education
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required or 3 or more years of Systems Administration experience.
Experience
Minimum of two years of information system experience with a financial institution. Experience with personal computer and network systems in a corporate environment, including:
- Software applications: Windows operating system, MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access and other database applications.
Knowledge of other database and operating systems preferred.
Other Requirements
- Must be bondable.
- Must be flexible and able to work unusual and variable hours/schedules including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
- Must be on call at all times.
- Must be accurate, dependable, and reliable.
- Excellent judgement, innovative thinking, problem solving, communication and organizational skills preferred.
