Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently perform daily assigned tasks, adhering to the highest industry standards and guidelines.
- Operate in diverse environments, including public rights-of-way, private properties, commercial areas, and residential spaces, to ensure the uninterrupted flow of natural gas.
- Demonstrate exemplary care for company equipment and materials, maintaining cleanliness, and following proper storage protocols.
- Adhere to instructions and guidelines to promote a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
- Display proficiency in operating backhoes and other smaller equipment, if required for the job.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of pipefitting experience, reflecting expertise in handling gas distribution projects.
- Successful completion of Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical assessment test.
- Willingness to travel up to 60 miles from your home to project sites. Some weekend work may be required.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- A High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field.
- 2–4 years of working with natural gas.
- Commercial Driver’s License.
- Mechanical inclination, demonstrating aptitude for problem-solving and contributing to operational efficiency.
Those with Plumbing, sprinkler fitting, pipefitting, and HVAC experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay
Pay Range: $25–40/hr, subject to Prevailing Wage.
