About the role
Perform all operations in the work area to meet or exceed expected quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all federal and state environmental, health, and safety regulations as well as company safety policies and protocols.
- Set up and trim, finish parts on appropriate equipment.
- Set up and operate large laser cutting machines and automated inscription machine.
- Load and unload ovens.
- Perform final inspection of parts using various measuring devices.
- Follow all SPC procedures.
- Rework parts as necessary.
- Perform in-process, trim, and inspect all parts as required (line pull).
- Record daily activities including clock offs and special projects.
- Record all information on the GT data collection system as required.
- Electronically perform SAP transactions such as labor and material usage in a timely and accurate manner.
- Pull flash, cut vents, and count parts.
- Rinse and bag parts as required.
- Transport work in process and finished goods within and between departments as necessary.
- Perform miscellaneous duties in the area as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Perform job in compliance with Company’s Quality Policy (ISO 9000).
- Ability to read and interpret prints.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in all operations.
- Maintain annual QC certification.
- Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions.
- This position requires U.S. Person status as defined by applicable law for authorized access to data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, lawful permanent residents, and workers granted refugee or asylum status in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in positions requiring frequent pushing, grasping, and repetitive movement.
- Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring pulling, twisting, and reaching.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as eye protection, protective gloves, and hearing protection.
- Ability to work in alternating positions of sitting and standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

3rd Shift / 10:30 PM - 6:45 AM
