Responsibilities
- Implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Collaborating with families and other professionals to support student success
- Educating staff and families on special education laws and best practices
- Assisting in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to improve educational outcomes for students with disabilities
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in special education or related field
- Valid teaching license in special education
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using technology for special education purposes
