About the role

ADUSA Transportation is a subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize USA, offering logistics support to major grocery retailers. This role involves moving trailers for loading and unloading of products, as well as handling salvage returns.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers into appropriate dock doors for loading and unloading of product for various departments
• Move trailers into appropriate dock door for unloading of salvage product returning from retail stores
• Move trailers as directed by YMS to any and all other locations (where applicable)
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity
• Maintain accurate temperature logs for all running reefers on the yard
• Complete yard audits within YMS using hand-held computers (where applicable)

Qualifications

• Some facilities may require a Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Some facilities may require you to be at least 21 years of age
• Some facilities may require a clean driving record with 3 years (or 300,000 miles) experience
• Must be able to meet expected work standards as established accurately and safely
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
• Must be able to pass D.O.T. physical and drug screen at facilities where a CDL is a requirement

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a -5 degree to 90+ degree Fahrenheit environment (temperature varies within each department) for extended periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• Excellent driving skills
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate and complete required record keeping functions
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
