Essential Position Responsibilities

• Achieve various jobs correctly and efficiently.

Simmons Operating Systems Principles and Objectives

• Familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies).
• Understand the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems.
• Consider the impact of individual actions on the systems and communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Other Duties

• Support business objectives as necessary.

Physical Activities

• Visually verify information, often in small print.
• Work in cool, wet, noisy environments with temperature extremes.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 35 lbs to shoulder height.
• Push or pull up to 1000 lbs.

Travel

• Travel between facilities and farms as needed to fill in for Driver Helpers (in JB Hunt equipment).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Use appropriate footwear, hearing protection, and other protective equipment as needed or required.

Technical Experience

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a company-issued pallet jack and forklift license.

Industry Experience

• Preference for poultry or food processing organizations.

Minimum Education

• A good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Preferred Education

• High School Diploma or GED.
