Swim Team Coach

Duties

• Provide workouts, instructions, motivation, and support to the swim team.
• Create a safe and fun environment for the swim team.
• Serve as the primary coach on deck during team practices.
• Lead practices 2-4 nights a week.

Qualifications

• Current Professional CPR, AED and First Aid and YMCA/or American Red Cross Lifeguard/or Ellis certification.
• The ability to perform all four strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle).
• YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI, current O2 certification, and competitive swimming experience are desired.
• Experience coaching and managing team practices several days a week.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to collaborate with other coaches and team leaders.
