Swim School Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Ensure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance with American Red Cross standards

Requirements

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant, and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is required
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards

Pay

$16.35 - $19.00 per hour
