Swim Lessons Instructor -Sunbury YMCA

About the role

Working directly with the supervisor and/or other staff, an instructor will assist in implementing the progressive YMCA Swim Lesson curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for the children in the Swim Lesson program
• Provide lessons as outlined by YMCA and/or supervisor
• Communicate lesson plans, intentions and observations to parents and/or supervisor
• Effectively communicate foreseeable schedule conflicts with supervisor

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children
• Knowledge of major competition swim strokes and breathing techniques
• Must have current CPR/First Aid certification
