Provides Swim Instruction Based on the Goldfish Swim School Curriculum

• Instruction follows the curriculum provided by Goldfish Swim School

Enforces Safety Rules and Regulations to Prevent Accidents

• Ensures adherence to safety guidelines

Administers First Aid When Necessary

• Trained to provide basic first aid

Evaluates Students' Progress and Completes Required Paperwork in a Timely Manner

• Assesses student progress and maintains accurate records

Interacts with Parents/Guardians on the Activities and Development of Students' Swim Skills

• Communicates with parents about their child's progress

Acts as a GSS “Ambassador” to Ensure Parental Satisfaction

• Works to maintain positive relationships with parents

Uses Problem Solving and Creative Thinking Skills to Identify and Resolve Challenges That Students Encounter

• Addresses issues that arise during lessons

Inspects Pool Areas Before and After Each Class for Possible Maintenance, Cleanliness or Damage Issues

• Monitors pool area conditions

Reports Issues to Management as Appropriate

• Notifies supervisors of any problems

Maintains and Ensures Proper Storage of All Pool Equipment

• Keeps pool equipment organized and in good condition

Completes Required Documentation and Paperwork

• Follows administrative procedures

Performs Deck Teacher Duties as Needed

• Assists with additional teaching responsibilities

Performs Light Cleaning Duties Such as Window Washing, Deck Mopping, Trash Removal etc. on Occasion

• Contributes to general upkeep of the facility

Attend Required/Mandatory Workshops and In-Service Training Outside of Regular Working Hours

• Continuously improve skills and knowledge

Fulfills Other Duties or Responsibilities as Assigned by the Employer

• Supports overall operations as needed
