Swim Instructor No teaching experience needed

About the role

In this unique role, you’ll teach essential water safety and swimming skills in the pool and deliver outstanding customer service on the pool deck. Whether you're leading a class or helping families at check-in, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and rewarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children and adults using our fun, proven curriculum (extensive training provided).
• Greet and check in families, assist with scheduling, and help manage pool deck operations.
• Keep students safe, engaged, and progressing in the water.
• Support a positive, team-oriented atmosphere — both in and out of the pool.

Requirements

• You love working with kids and making a difference.
• You’re reliable, upbeat, and comfortable in the water.
• Previous experience in customer service, education, coaching, or childcare is a plus.
• Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Must be able to swim comfortably in a deep pool.
• Must complete our paid swim instructor training.

Pay

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude.

Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchise location.
