Responsibilities
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of swim lessons for various age groups and skill levels
- Helping to coordinate swim team practices and events
- Providing supervision and safety for all swim activities
- Aiding in the maintenance of the pool and swim areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Communicating with parents and guardians regarding swim programs and participation
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing ideas to improve the swim program
- Providing support to the head coach and other swim staff as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or currently enrolled in a graduate program
- Strong swimming skills and familiarity with swim instruction
- Experience working with children in a coaching or educational capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
