About the Role
Invited is the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, with 130+ country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs offering first-class amenities. The Swim Coach supports the development and training of swimming activities while providing individual lessons to members and guests, working closely with the aquatics team to ensure a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Connect with members regularly and promote aquatic club activities
- Create a personalized experience for members by providing towels and water service during their use of the aquatic facilities
- Promote facility amenities, programs, and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service, including wearing a club-approved uniform and nametag
- Assist in designing swim practices as outlined by the manager and maintain supervision of the group, including monitoring development for swimmers
- Attend swimming meets and warm-up sessions as scheduled
- Assist in the setup of the pool for training sessions while ensuring the area remains accessible for non-swimming team members
- Help oversee the completion of daily assignments in designated areas to uphold club standards and align with the Star Service FOCUS expectations, including maintaining orderly and organized workspaces, tidying the entry area, and ensuring the aquatics facilities are well-stocked and arranged
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff
- Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same
- Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations
- Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team's success
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coaching swimmers of various ages and skill levels
- Must be ASCA or USA swimming certified
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and AED within the last 6 months
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, members, and guests
Physical Requirements
- Frequent swimming, sitting, standing, walking, and driving
- Occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases
- Squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion
- Talking, hearing, and seeing

Schedule
- Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines
- Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required
