Responsibilities
- Provide advanced special reconnaissance instruction to SBTs related to current and emerging SR operations conducted within the Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community.
- Assist TRADET-4 with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning throughout the IDTC.
- Aid in liaison support with NSWG4 N3 and N8, as well as other Special Operations entities to identify and integrate emerging technologies into the SBT IDTC.
Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of five years' experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC), with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E.
- Applicant's SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
- Five years' experience as NAVY/NSW Instructor.
- Instructors will support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management and performance as opposing forces (OP4), as necessary.
- Two years' experience in NSW Combatant craft signature management and Maritime Special Reconnaissance mission execution.
- Familiar with SIGNATURE MANAGEMENT NTTPs and Combatant Craft specific SOPs.
- Coordination with functional departments including NSWG-4 N2, N32, and N8 for integration, application, and oversight of current and emerging capabilities IOT assist in the development of new curriculum and TTPs.
- Must have background in operation of RADAR, optics and intelligence capabilities.
