About the role
The role requires fluency in both English and Swahili, with a strong ability to interpret accurately and efficiently between the two languages.
Responsibilities
- Translating complex documents from English to Swahili and vice versa
- Providing interpretation services at meetings and conferences
- Ensuring accuracy and clarity in all translations and interpretations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Interpretation, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional interpreting experience
- Excellent command of both English and Swahili
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with translation software tools
- Passionate about language and cultural exchange
