About the Role

The SVP, Senior Research Analyst will perform bottom-up fundamental equity research, focusing on public energy companies and power infrastructure sectors. Responsibilities include generating buy and sell recommendations across various market capitalizations, participating in research groups, and contributing to team-based projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high-level understanding of energy, power, and infrastructure markets, gathering and analyzing data to provide insights to the business and clients.
  • Independently conduct equity research by analyzing financial statements, forecasting, performing industry and competitive analysis, and other due diligence methods.
  • Apply valuation analysis to fundamental models.
  • Generate, develop, and present new investment ideas, while monitoring current investments for all active US Equities strategies.
  • Convey information verbally and through written reports, including investment idea write-ups and quarterly company updates.
  • Conduct due diligence with company management and investor relations personnel.
  • Handle additional projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age with unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA preferred.
  • 15+ years of equity research experience with knowledge of energy sectors.

Schedule

This position requires travel approximately 5-10% of the time for industry conferences and investor meetings.
