SVP, Operations Process Engineer

This position will directly contribute to the success of our servicing platform and execution of strategic vision by leading initiatives to achieve overall productivity and efficiency targets. The individual is responsible for assessing, recommending improvement, and implementing processes and workflows that impact accuracy, automation, and risk mitigation for all operational and loan management functions.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior leadership to establish overall vision and support execution of operational and loan management success and ideal cost‑of‑service targets for the organization.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all areas of workflow, risk mitigation, and exception processing within the organizational unit.
• Identify solutions to improve data quality, service‑level deliveries, cycle time, and defect metrics for all functional areas, including loan management functions directly and indirectly impacted by operations.
• Support the development and implementation of process‑improvement initiatives leveraging various technology solutions for operational and loan‑management related functions.
• Promote collaboration with cross‑functional teams—including technology, operations, loan management, and asset management—to optimize business performance through process consistency, centralization, and standardized KPI reporting.
• Effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with stakeholders to ensure issues and solutions are understood; create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and project teams.
• Work with operational and loan‑management leadership to analyze requirements, define scope, make recommendations, and establish outcome criteria and expected KPI targets.
• In conjunction with the Project Management team, serve as point of contact for testing, defining metric reporting, and evidencing efficiency gains where applicable.
• Drive cultural and organizational change by promoting a data‑driven mindset and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform other activities as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; preferred fields of study: real estate, finance/accounting, business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 12+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a VP‑level role or external equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience documenting process workflows and demonstrating efficiency improvement.
• Certification in process improvement a plus (Six Sigma, CPIS, CBPP, etc.).
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to apply analysis to systems and processes as required.
• Ability to analyze and document processes using Visio, Miro, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership skills.
• High degree of professionalism.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Pro‑active approach to problem recognition and resolution.

Pay

The annual full‑time base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $170,000. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Certain positions may be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility, and senior management approval.
