About the role

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CFO's primary deputy for planning, budgeting, and financial matters
• Lead the development of the annual budget and multi-year financial plans
• Translate financial performance and market dynamics for Board narratives and investor materials
• Drive scenario modeling and capital allocation frameworks for strategic decision-making
• Build investor-grade financial models and narratives to support growth phases
• Lead financial analytics to support capital raises from investors
• Develop business cases and ROI models for strategic investments

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior FP&A or finance leadership role
• Proven experience in multi-site, multi-state healthcare environments or complex, high-growth settings
• Experience with private equity-backed companies, focusing on sponsor-grade reporting and board presentations
• Expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and scenario analysis
• Strong understanding of healthcare financial drivers, including revenue and cost structures
• Proven ability to build and scale finance teams, including experience with M&A and organic growth
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred

Pay

$210,000 – $250,000 annually
