SVP, Director of Home Lending
Job Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight of financial planning, workforce strategy, and performance management, ensuring budgets, staffing models, and KPIs are aligned with long-term business objectives and support sustainable, enterprise-wide growth.
- Leverage data analytics to optimize end-to-end workflows, strengthen credit performance, and elevate customer experience across all channels.
- Assess and modernize core programs, processes, and operational frameworks by integrating industry best practices, benchmarking against emerging standards, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
- Cultivate high-impact relationships with key business leaders, external partners, and industry stakeholders, strengthening the organization’s competitive position across an expanding geographic footprint.
- Develop forward-looking financial models and predictive analytics to inform strategic decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance enterprise-level insight into business performance and market opportunities.
- Monitor and interpret economic, regulatory, and industry trends, advising senior leadership on near- and long-term implications for growth strategy, market positioning, and product innovation.
- Promote a culture of innovation and opportunity creation, identifying strategic pathways for expansion into new markets, services, and partnership models that align with long-range organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with Technology and Data Transformation teams to advance digital modernization efforts, accelerating the adoption of automation, intelligent workflows, and data-driven capabilities that enhance scalability and operational excellence.
- Evaluate and refine incentive compensation strategies to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, reinforcing performance behaviors that drive value, productivity, and sustainable business outcomes.
- Partner with Marketing to strengthen brand presence, customer engagement, and product portfolio visibility, enhancing customer loyalty, deepening relationships, and increasing overall share of wallet.
- Lead strategic assessments, negotiations, and integration efforts for external partnerships and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and maximizing organizational value.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- 10+ years of financial services experience across a wide range of roles (ex. Operational, Sales, Leadership positions).
- Mortgage experience required.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, motivational abilities, and the ability to drive culture and engagement that finds and retains talented employees.
- Adaptive leadership to successfully manage through ambiguity and rapid changes.
- Strategic and innovative approaches to business planning, budgeting and management along with a sound understanding of best business practices.
- Effective prioritization, clear accountability, and the ability to make decisions within tight timeframes across multiple high priority projects.
- Outstanding leadership ability as well as excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong process orientation (can manage large scale projects).
- Ability to work effectively with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Team.
- Executive presence, can lead through influence and expertise to drive strategic agenda.
- Working proficiency in compliance laws and regulations, including Reg Z, B, X (RESPA), TRID and ECOA.
- Experience in preparing and managing an annual budget.
Salary Range
$160,476.00 - $263,637.75
Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
