SVP, Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms
About the role
The Senior Vice President, Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms is responsible for defining and executing the strategy, architecture, engineering practices, transformation initiatives, governance, and operations for Synchrony's private and public cloud platforms. This executive will lead the modernization of enterprise technology capabilities across cloud, networking, platform services, databases, virtual desktop infrastructure, and hybrid-cloud connectivity. This role will build and lead a high-performing technology engineering organization focused on delivering secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective platforms that accelerate business growth, enable digital transformation, and strengthen enterprise resilience. The SVP will serve as the executive leader for Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms and partner closely with leaders across the CIO, Engineering, Security, Architecture, Product, and Business organizations. The role will establish strategic direction, lead critical technology initiatives, advance Synchrony's cloud-first strategy, and champion engineering excellence through automation, Agile delivery, infrastructure as code, platform standardization, and strong operational discipline. This is a highly visible executive leadership role requiring exceptional strategic thinking, execution, organizational leadership, and executive-level communication skills.
