SVP, Chief Operating Officer Global Finance

For our client, we are seeking a SVP, Chief Operating Officer Global Finance to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This executive will serve as the senior operational leader for the global finance organization, driving modernization across processes, data, and technology. The role will partner closely with finance leadership and global stakeholders to build a more scalable, standardized operating model. It will also help ensure the function is positioned to support regulatory requirements and long-term transformation objectives in a complex international environment. Location: Chesterfield, MO - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $323,600 – $479,733 annually Responsibilities Serve as the senior operational leader of the global finance function Lead the comprehensive modernization of the finance function Drive the digital transformation and modernization of finance technology infrastructure Design and implement standardized, scalable finance processes globally Lead the development and execution of the global finance data strategy Ensure the global finance function operates within regulatory frameworks Design, implement, and optimize the global finance operating model Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience Minimum of 5 years in a senior executive finance role Demonstrated experience leading large-scale finance transformation programs Proven track record of leading ERP and finance technology implementations Deep knowledge of IFRS 17, US GAAP, SOX, and international regulatory reporting requirements Benefits Hybrid work environment Opportunities for professional development Engagement in high-impact transformation initiatives Collaboration with global leaders in Finance Participation in strategic decision-making processes Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
