Responsibilities
- Collect logistics and operations and sustainment (O&S) data and perform predictive analysis for a diverse portfolio of strategic Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication (NC3) terminals.
- Proactively recommend logistics-based solutions and plans for spares management, acquisition, and distribution to optimize reliability and availability of NC3 systems.
- Monitor equipment performance, hardware/software lists, and obsolescence data to track trends related to breakage or failure.
- Perform analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements and document results of the analyses in a report format.
- Work with the government and contractor team to develop and execute logistics solutions and strategies.
- Analyze developer plans, evaluate proposed sustainment activities, and develop recommendations for potential solutions.
- Roadmap current operations and sustainment efforts for legacy and transitioning NC3 capabilities, initiative activities, technical refreshes, and software upgrades for the NC3 terminals portfolio.
- Using programmatic acumen, monitor program activities and provide recommendations for process improvements and solutions to promote facilitate planning and resourcing to enable continuous equipment availability and reliability.
- Support sustainment analysis efforts to capture current combat readiness metrics and actions.
Requirements
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 4 years of related experience in DoD Space Operations, Life Cycle Logistics, or DoD Acquisition Integrated Product Support.
- Knowledgeable in Life Cycle Logistics.
- Microsoft Office - proficient.
- Oral/written Communications – proficient.
- Microsoft Project – aware.
- Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Knowledgeable in DoD/DA publications and forms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.
- Communications Security (US Government) - knowledgeable.
- Configuration Management (DoD) - aware.
- Demilitarization & Disposal (DoD) - knowledgeable.
- Design Interface (US Space Force) – knowledgeable.
- Maintenance Planning & Management (US Space Force) – knowledgeable.
- Operations & Maintenance (US Space Force) – proficient.
- Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (DoD) - knowledgeable.
- Planning (DoD) – knowledgeable.
- Property Accountability (DoD) - knowledgeable.
- Requirements Management (US Space Force) - knowledgeable.
- Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (US Space Force) – knowledgeable.
- Statutes, Policy & Guidance (US Government) - knowledgeable.
- Technical Data (US Space Force) – knowledgeable.
- Hold Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) DoD Supply/Logistics experience.
- Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Clauses.
- Wide Area Workflow, IUID Registry, GFP Management through PIEE.
- Knowledge of life cycle cost analysis, support equipment requirements, and logistics support analysis.
