About the role

The Sustainment Engineering Expediter position requires consistent, in-person collaboration and onsite work due to the nature of the role. Work is conducted 100% on-site at a BAE Systems facility.

Responsibilities

  • Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
  • Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems.
  • Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders.
  • Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation.
  • Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.

Requirements

  • Data entry and use of Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook and other programs.
  • Inventory control using databases and data entry.
  • Knowledge of foundry workings and protocols.
  • Inventory control and purchasing of spare and emergency orders.
  • Knowledge of stock room standards a plus.

Preferred

  • High school diploma.
  • Attention to details.
  • Experience with clean room policies a plus.
  • The ability to work in a clean room for extended periods of time as required.
  • Interfacing with internal and external groups both electronically and verbally to support foundry operations.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
