Sustaining Engineer

About the role

The Sustaining Engineer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing systems and infrastructure to ensure they meet current and future needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade software applications and hardware systems
• Provide technical support to users and resolve system issues
• Conduct regular system audits and implement improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for technology and continuous learning

Skills

• Technical proficiency in Windows/Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of SQL and database management
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
