About the role
The Opportunity As a Sustainability R&A - Intern, you will engage in projects that enhance the credibility of sustainability reporting, focusing on environmental, social, and governance disclosures. Within our Assurance practice, you will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. This role offers a chance to observe and contribute to the success of client engagements, providing a foundation for your professional growth. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams with basic tasks, observe professional work environments, and participate in projects. Responsibilities
- Supporting sustainability reporting initiatives by gathering and analyzing data related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics
- Participating in the preparation of sustainability reports in alignment with established reporting standards such as GRI and TCFD
- Assisting in the evaluation of climate finance and nature finance mechanisms to support sustainability projects
- Engaging in data modeling and analysis to provide insights for sustainability performance improvement
- Collaborating with teams to conduct materiality assessments and prioritize significant ESG issues for reporting
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to understand the processes
