Sustainability Intern

About the role

We're seeking a dynamic and motivated student to join our sustainability team for the summer. This internship will support our product pillar, providing hands-on experience in sustainability within a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting for sustainability metrics (e.g. GHG emissions, energy use, waste, water)
• Map and analyze material flows and across operations
• Identify high-impact opportunities for material or energy reduction
• Support external-facing documentation and communications about sustainability
• Benchmark industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability
• Prepare internal reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Familiarity with life cycle assessments, green building frameworks (e.g. LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Passive House, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proactive mindset with a passion for environmental stewardship

Pay

Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $22-$27. Interns are not eligible for benefits.
