Sustainability Intern - 2027

Focus

The Sustainability Intern supports the Sustainability team across systems, data, and compliance. This role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, operations, supply chain) and external partners (suppliers, auditors) with the Sustainability team in maintaining robust, transparent, and credible sustainability reporting practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.
• Collect sustainability data, reviewing data submissions, and perform quality assurance
• Maintain sustainability datasets, spreadsheets, and reporting templates
• Assist with regular reporting activities, preparing data submissions and reporting requirements, and other data requests for stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Environmental or Chemical Engineering degree program
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work continuously throughout the year, can be part-time (20 hours per week) while taking classes.
• Not eligible for virtual work.
