Sustainability Integration Lead

What this job involves: In this role, you will work directly with one of our high-profile clients as the leader of the JLL Sustainable Operations Team. You will develop deep knowledge of client program needs, act as an accelerator and collaborator within JLL services, and ensure sustainability integration across business functions throughout the real estate lifecycle. This position requires a programmatic approach to embed sustainability thinking and practices into space selection, fit-outs, occupancy, maintenance, and experience. The position is hybrid requiring 2 to 3 days a week in office. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of all sustainability activities across the client real estate portfolioMeeting client sustainability objectives and KPIs while ensuring transparent monitoring and performance reporting processesProviding strategic direction on effectively implementing sustainability services that meet client expectationsManaging a high-performing sustainable operations team consisting of utilities, energy, sustainability, and smart buildings expertsNetworking cross-functionally to collaborate with other JLL service lines and elevate sustainability mission objectivesDeveloping and enhancing systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performanceProviding expertise in Smart Building controls, building energy efficiencies, load shifting strategies, and decarbonizationExecuting stakeholder engagement and team leadership to ensure delivery according to scope and scheduleDemonstrating innovative thinking and proactive management in bringing new solutions to service delivery Desired experience and technical skills: Requirements: University degree, plus advanced degree in Science, engineering, math, or related fields demonstrating mastery of building systems (HVAC, lighting, building management systems) and sustainability aspects15+ years' experience in sustainable operations and/or engineering of commercial buildingsStrong operations experience in large multi-dimensional organizations with focus on operations management, productivity, or engineering excellenceExperience in building/developing engineering toolsets to increase labor productivity and qualityStrong data management and database development experienceStrong experience with building management & automation systems (Siemens, ALC, JCI, Schneider)Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teamsProven project management experience and excellent communication skills Preferred: Applied experience in building auditing, commissioning, retrofit and designExperience working with corporate clients and understanding of landlord/tenant relationshipsTrack record integrating sustainability into organizational operationsExperience developing and implementing ambitious sustainability programs including tactical plans and proceduresUnderstanding of key sustainability issues: decarbonization, embodied carbon, circularity, resource preservation, biodiversity, climate risk, health & wellbeing, and social value creationKnowledge of regression modeling and statistical analysisAbility to obtain buy-in and engagement from employees at all levels
