Job Summary
Kikka Sushi is seeking a prep cook/line cook who can provide excellent customer service in the Whole Foods Market located at 261 Lusher Court, Frisco, Colorado 80443. Full-time position, 5 days a week, including all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, with shifts from 7am to 4pm (including an hour unpaid meal break).
Responsibilities
- Create sushi in advance and according to customer requests.
- Perform prep work and prepare other Asian foods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Engage with customers, answer their questions, and share the joy of our food.
- Expand culinary skills and advance career opportunities within the company.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Able and willing to work all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Familiar with sushi preparation (hint: it involves more than just raw fish).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Food handling experience is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with a potential increase up to $23.00 per hour based on sushi making experience. Medical, vacation, and 401K benefits are offered. Company-provided uniforms and non-slip shoe reimbursement are also included.
Qualifications
No prior sushi-making experience is required, but we will teach you everything you need to know. We value enthusiasm, hard work, and a passion for food.
