Duties

  • Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the sushi preparation area
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
  • Aid with catering orders and special events as needed
  • Order and manage inventory of products
  • Control food costs
  • Manage front of the house to ensure guest experience is excellent

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Head Sushi Chef or relevant role
  • Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and ingredients
  • Strong knife skills and ability to handle seafood with precision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
