About the role
Resonant is seeking a Survivability/LO Engineer to join a multi-discipline engineering team supporting stealth technology design and measurement. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, analyzing, developing, building, and testing aircraft models, component models like radomes and antennas.
Responsibilities
- Deliver signature simulations and test data to customers
- Participate in discussions to improve overall designs
- Work in multidisciplinary teams to produce hardware such as test fixturing and measurement targets
- Organize and present large datasets professionally
- Model and simulate RF phenomena using tools like MATLAB, Python, and HFSS, CST, FEKO
- Perform RCS or antenna gain measurements
- Design, manufacture, and test LO vehicles, components, and test models
- Use network analyzers or radar
Qualifications
- Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar field
- Preferred 2-5 years of experience in fielded aircraft technology or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics specializing in materials modeling and simulation, or electromagnetic simulation
- Eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance. Active clearance preferred, TS plus
- Comfortable interfacing with other engineers and customers to discuss project approaches
