We need to output HTML fragment with headings

for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We need to parse the posting. Content: - Intro about ALCOSAN: mission, etc. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" maybe includes description of role? The posting includes "Position Summary The Surveyor is responsible for performing surveying work for the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority." That's a summary. - Job Duties: list of duties (multiple paragraphs). Should be under Responsibilities. - Tools and Equipment: list of equipment. - Knowledge / Abilities: list of abilities. - Minimum Education Level Required: High School diploma or GED required. - Minimum Experience Required: (no specific? It says "Minimum Experience Required" but no detail? Actually line: "Minimum Experience Required" then blank? It appears they omitted detail. So we should not include a section if content is placeholder like "not specified". So we skip Experience if no detail. - Required Certifications / Licenses: Must possess a current and valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License, Registered Surveyor (Professional Land Surveyor) License in the State of Pennsylvania, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certification (preferred) - Also mention "The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." which is boilerplate EEO, should be removed. - Also mention "Job Duties (cont.)" but that's just continuation. We need to decide sections: - About the role: could include the mission description and position summary. The intro about ALCOSAN could be considered "About the role"? Usually "About the role" includes summary of role and maybe organization. We'll include that. - Responsibilities: Job Duties list. - Requirements: maybe combine Minimum Education Level Required and Required Certifications / Licenses? But we have separate headings: Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We need to decide which to use. We have: - Minimum Education Level Required: High School diploma or GED required. That's a requirement. - Required Certifications / Licenses: list. - Knowledge / Abilities: abilities. - Tools and Equipment: maybe Skills? Or could be under Skills. We need to avoid thin sections. Let's think: we could have sections: - About the role (summary + organization) - Responsibilities (duties) - Qualifications (education + certifications) - Skills (knowledge/abilities, tools/equipment) We should not include Benefits, Pay, Schedule unless present. Not present. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID etc. We must remove boilerplate EEO. We must preserve all substantive info. Now format:

About the role

ALCOSAN is committed to providing wastewater treatment services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From our Board of Directors to our Executive Director, leadership and staff; we work to enhance the community’s quality of life and safety by protecting our rivers and streams. After 60 years of continued design, construction and operations of the sewer system and treatment plant, we now have 400 plus employees serving residential, commercial and industrial customers in 83 communities throughout Allegheny County. The Surveyor is responsible for performing surveying work for the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as party chief/instrument person for surveys, maintaining appropriate field notes and sketches.

  • Performs other duties associated within the Engineering and Construction Department as directed.
But we also have "Tools and Equipment: GPS, Theodolite, transit, auto level and total station; Lock Level and Abney Levels". Should we include under Skills or maybe as part of Responsibilities? It's a list of tools. Could be under Skills. Also "Knowledge / Abilities Ability to: Input and import data, in electronic form, via the computer. Provide input on proposed survey equipment purchases Operate an Authority vehicle(s) during the workday. Operate a Trimble GPS Receiver Equipment, Theodolite, transit, auto level, total station, and data collector Be able to seal easement plats Operate a drone to take aerial photos and perform surveying duties (preferred)". That's also abilities. Thus we can have Skills section combining tools and abilities. Let's create Skills section:

Skills

  • Input and import data in electronic form via computer.
  • Provide input on proposed survey equipment purchases.
  • Operate Authority vehicle(s) during the workday.
  • Operate Trimble GPS Receiver, Theodolite, transit, auto level, total station, and data collector.
  • Ability to seal easement plats.
  • Operate a drone to take aerial photos and perform surveying duties (preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, ArcGIS and other relevant software.
  • Experience with GPS, Theodolite, transit, auto level, total station; Lock Level and Abney Levels.
But note we already listed ability to use Microsoft Word etc in Responsibilities; we might duplicate. To avoid duplication, we could keep it only once. The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we remove duplicate, we might lose info? It's okay if it's duplicate? The instruction says do not invent or summarize away detail; duplicates are okay but we might want to avoid redundancy but not required. However better to keep each piece once. We can keep Microsoft Word etc under Skills, and remove from Responsibilities. But Responsibilities had "Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, ArcGIS and other relevant software". That's a skill, not a duty. So moving it to Skills is fine. Similarly, "Obtains data from County and Municipality property records as required." is a duty. Now Responsibilities list should not include that ability. Let's adjust Responsibilities to exclude the software ability. Now we need to ensure we keep all duties. List duties from original: - Serves as party chief/instrument person for surveys, maintaining appropriate field notes and sketches. - Participates in and direct laborers in brush cutting and other necessary work required prior to, or in conjunction with, surveying activities. - Also performs a similar function regarding location of ALCOSAN facilities or facilities impacting ALCOSAN systems. - Transcribes field notes and sketches into compiled data, cross sections or drawings. - Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, ArcGIS and other relevant software. (move to Skills) - Obtains data from County and Municipality property records as required. - Research property and titles, as required to support the Regional Conveyance division. - Review metes and bounds and other property descriptions provided to the Authority. - Review survey drawings performed by others to ensure conformance to ALCOSAN CADD standards. - Understand the ALCOSAN Plant Coordinate System and how it correlates to the standard coordinate systems. - Maintenance of a Monument and Control network for the Regional Conveyance Division and Engineering & Construction Division. - Review of Contractor or Consultant Provided Coordinate files for completion. - Operates Engineering and Construction Department’s Reproduction Equipment. - Participates in equipment test, pilot plant operations, special sampling programs and experimental projects. - Obtains maps and other documents, equipment or supplies as requested. - Delivers or picks up contract documents, plans, legal notices, and other material as directed. - Performs other duties associated within the Engineering and Construction Department as directed. Now Tools and Equipment list: GPS, Theodolite, transit, auto level and total station; Lock Level and Abney Levels. We can include under Skills as "Experience with GPS, Theodolite, transit, auto level, total station; Lock Level and Abney Levels." Now Knowledge / Abilities list: - Input and import data, in electronic form, via the computer. - Provide input on proposed survey equipment purchases. - Operate an Authority vehicle(s) during the workday. - Operate a Trimble GPS Receiver Equipment, Theodolite, transit, auto level, total station, and data collector. - Be able to seal easement plats. - Operate a drone to take aerial photos and perform surveying duties (preferred). Note some overlap with tools; we can combine. Now Minimum Education Level Required: High School diploma or GED required. Required Certifications / Licenses: Must possess a current and valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License, Registered Surveyor (Professional Land Surveyor) License in the State of Pennsylvania, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certification (preferred). Now we need sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications (maybe combine education and certifications), Skills. We should not include Requirements if we already have Qualifications covering education and certs. But we could also have Requirements for education and certs, and Qualifications for skills? However we have limited headings; we can choose. Better: Use Qualifications for education and certifications, Skills for abilities/tools. Thus:

Check for any missing info: The phrase "Maintenance of a Monument and Control network for the Regional Conveyance Division and Engineering & Construction Division." is a duty; we included under Responsibilities? Not yet. Let's add. Add to Responsibilities: "Maintains a Monument and Control network for the Regional
