Survey Project Manager (Energy Services)

About the role

Schneider Geomatics is seeking a Project Manager to join the Energy Services team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead daily survey activities of assigned staff.
• Identify and manage priorities to meet client, team, and corporate goals.
• Manage field crew work and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Communicate with clients and other team members on surveying aspects of projects.
• Prepare proposals and contracts for clients, ensuring clear scopes of work and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Review and approve technical approaches and final work products.
• Coordinate with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Implement staff training and development programs.
• Mentor assigned staff members.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s surveying degree, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of survey project management experience.
• Professional registration as a land surveyor in the state of primary work assignment.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Sound judgment and technical competence in land surveying.
• Able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
