Survey Project Manager

About the role

The Survey Project Manager (PM) at McClure is responsible for leading a variety of survey projects both internally and for external clients. The PM will guide the team towards successful project completion and contribute to the company's profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing effective survey solutions to meet client needs
• Communicate with clients and lead and mentor teammates
• Build trust, delegate work, and guide the team to successful project completion
• Maintain strong client relationships and monitor client satisfaction
• Oversee the QA/QC process to ensure high quality deliverables and risk mitigation
• Articulate clients' goals and objectives to the team
• Monitor and manage the financial status of projects
• Prepare fee estimates, write proposals, and perform contract management

Requirements

• Land Surveyor License required or able to obtain within 6 months
• 5 years of experience in surveying or related field
• Fluent in Autodesk Civil 3D and capable of learning other survey-specific software
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, survey field procedures, and construction layout
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
