Survey Project Manager

About the role

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated Project Manager to work in its Surveying Group. This position will include working on a wide range of survey projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, IDOT plat of highways, topographic surveying, and more. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Leadership skills and team member oversight
• Participate in business development with current and new clients
• Develop accurate budgets and proposals
• Direct and manage personnel assigned to the survey group
• Track costs and upkeep project budgets
• Manage multiple large projects simultaneously
• Plat creation, boundary calculations, and oversight
• Research public records both online and at the recorder’s office

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a land surveyor in the State of Illinois
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center
• Ability to operate Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to multitask, adhere to timelines, and remain focused
