Duties
- Strategic Visioning/Leadership
- Aid in expanding the practice through growth of survey services
- Support business development and marketing efforts
- Collaborate with other practices within CEC to address client needs
- Enhance services standards both internally and externally
Technical Expertise
- Provide technical oversight of projects
- Maintain quality assurance and quality control of procedures and work product
- Promote and monitor field and office procedures
- Implement comprehensive safety program for the survey practice
Personnel Development/Recruiting
- Mentor and train survey staff for professional growth and development
- Identify and recruit key personnel
Qualifications
- 8+ years of surveying experience in a professional office environment
- Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
- Experience with survey project management, including proposal preparation, budget tracking, and billing review
- Ability to communicate professionally and provide guidance and mentoring to staff
- Ability to assist in the growth of the survey practice using marketing and networking techniques
Skills
- CST Level III or ability to obtain certification within 6 months (a plus)
