Survey Party Chief

Lamp Rynearson, Inc., an engineering, land planning, land surveying, and consulting firm with a solid reputation for its recognized clients, projects, and people, has an excellent opportunity for a qualified Survey Party Chief in our Omaha, NE office.

About the role

Our survey party chiefs collect, process, and analyze field data, communicate with both internal and external clientele, coordinate, direct, and train field personnel to efficiently complete projects, and properly maintain the survey equipment and trucks. A successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, including aerial fixed-wing and rotary drones, aquatic drones, 3D scanners, GPS, and total stations.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple types of surveys including but not limited to ALTA, boundary, construction, and topographic surveys
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Periodically work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays, as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong understanding of mathematics, surveying principles, and QA/QC processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Pass background check

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Desire to explore and develop new technologies
• Photogrammetry and/or scanning experience
