Survey Party Chief

Duties, Responsibilities & Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field.
• Operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment.
• Perform survey calculations in the field using excellent math skills.
• Interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.
• Create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
• Absolutely required: Valid current driver’s license.
• Follow instructions and maintain a positive can-do attitude.
• Possess leadership and mentoring skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, and be willing to work evenings/weekends and travel for overnight and extended stay projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Certificates, licenses, and registrations required, including a valid driver’s license.
