Survey Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities of survey field crews and survey CAD technicians
• Oversight of project workflows from field data collection through final deliverables
• Prepare and manage survey crew schedules and office production schedules
• Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and professional standards
• Review and certify survey documents in accordance with NY licensure requirements
• Prepare survey-related proposals, including scope development, budgeting, and timelines
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts

Qualifications

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in New York
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, procedures, and state regulations
• Experience managing field crews and office technical staff
• Proficiency with survey data processing and CAD software
• Experience preparing proposals and cost estimates
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
