What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a survey crew performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys
- Operate and maintain survey equipment, including GPS and robotic total stations
- Collect field data, perform calculations, and maintain accurate field notes and records
- Cookordinate with project teams, clients, and other staff to support project objectives
- Direct, mentor, and develop crew members to support their growth within the surveying profession
- Research deeds, easements, right-of-way documents, record maps, plans, and other survey records
- Maintain survey project files, field data records, and indexing systems
- Assist with office survey functions and mapping compliance activities as needed
- Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of walking, hiking, standing, and occasional sitting
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate survey equipment and tools
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain
- Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Connecticut and surrounding states as needed.
- Willingness and ability to work at various project locations, including occasional overnight travel when required.
- Ability to meet client and project-specific site access requirements, including successful completion of pre-employment and/or random drug and alcohol testing.
