Survey CADD Technician

About the role

CADD Tech Cardinal Civil Resources is seeking an employee with high integrity and excellent attention to detail to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform office duties including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks, and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCADD.
• Conduct daily CADD production to complete Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys.
• Draft Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys using Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (Primary) and GIS (Secondary).
• Show attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Perform mathematical calculations and check field data.
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Have a basic understanding of sources of measurement errors and geometry and grading.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school education or equivalent with a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Civil Engineering environment.
• Experience with Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required.
• Good interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills.
• Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an insurable record.
• Background Check and Drug Testing Required.
