Survey Assistant - Construction

Duties

• Perform a broad range of duties on a survey crew such as:
  • Clearing brush
  • Carrying takes and equipment
  • Locating monuments
  • Holding level rod, setting stakes
  • Making measurements
  • Taking notes
  • Making computations
  • Basic drafting
  • Other technically related specialties
• Maintains equipment and vehicles used by survey crew.
• Utilizes computer software programs to complete certain duties.

Special Experience/Education

• A High School Diploma or equivalent with math training sufficient to perform field and laboratory tests.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state of Michigan driver license.
