About the role

A Surveillance Security Guard is needed to monitor security systems, document events, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents. The position requires sharp observation skills, technology proficiency, and the ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
  • Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • Pass an extensive screening process
  • Have strong report writing skills
  • Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
  • Have strong proficiency with technology
  • If required, have a state license

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $18.65 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Full-time, Friday through Wednesday, 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Employment

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
