Overview
Why We Need Your Talents: The Surveillance Shift Manager plays a key leadership role in protecting the integrity, safety, and operational excellence of Live! Casino & Hotel. Your ability to guide Surveillance team members, oversee critical monitoring systems, and enforce regulatory and internal control standards ensures that the property remains secure and compliant around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Supervises a team of Surveillance Supervisors, Operators and/or Technicians in performance of their duties on an assigned shift.
- Responsible for supervising the monitoring and operations of CCTV and alarm systems.
- Supervision of staff to include shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts.
- Supervises department team members and procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and the guests.
- Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with Manager.
- Understand all department operational logistics and supervise, monitor and report as appropriate.
- Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Two (2) year associates degree or technical degree in a related fields or equivalent work experience.
- Four (4) to eight (8) years’ experience in table games and casino surveillance.
- Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule.
- May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
- Must have excellent vision and hearing.
- Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
- Must be able to stand and walk 30% of the time.
Working Conditions
- 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
- Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
- You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
