About the role

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings. The role demands a sharp eye and strong observation skills with attention to detail as you scan a series of screens.

Schedule

Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (41 hours per week). Site location: Portland, Oregon.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $23.70 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license if required
